About the Job

At Windsor Mountain Summer Camp, our counselors serve as role models and counselors for campers, providing social and emotional support for them away from home. Counselors also lead activities and plan classes to teach, helping campers build skills and have fun.

We seek to hire kind, caring and fun people who want to work with children. A qualified applicant should have a relevant skill to share with campers in an activity area, such as swimming, sports, arts and crafts, music, cooking, performing arts, videography, ropes course, farming and gardening, and wilderness trip leading.

We can make this opportunity into a paid internship for you if you’d like, just reach out and ask us how!

Why Work at Windsor Mountain?

Join our camp community and make a difference in the lives of children this summer! Working at Windsor Mountain, you’ll join our diverse community of kind and fun individuals from around the world. You’ll make friends and memories that will last your whole life. You’ll grow and change as a person, and experience new things. You’ll bring light to the lives of children, and support them in this difficult time. If you are creative, positive, self-driven, hard-working, and love working with children in a diverse community, then Windsor Mountain is the place for you.

Working at camp likely will be the most rewarding experience of your life. Beyond that, camp provides professional development, resume builders and leadership opportunities that will translate well for your future success. You will develop and practice skills, like communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, problem-solving, creativity and flexibility, that will prepare you for success in the future. The leadership opportunities available in a camp setting are unlike most others available to young professionals. Just as importantly, you will gain a network of friends and colleagues from around the world.
