Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services in New York. The ideal candidate will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and help individuals improve their mobility, manage pain, and regain physical function.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients’ physical conditions, mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other appropriate treatment interventions.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and their families on exercises, recovery plans, and injury prevention.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and treatment records.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and professional standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent recognized degree in Physical Therapy.
Active and unrestricted New York State Physical Therapist license.
Previous clinical experience in physical therapy preferred.
Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient assessment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Compensation
$70 per hour
