FATALITY® is a luxury streetwear house founded by creative director Eddie Cole, born in Minneapolis and built for the world. Every release is a chapter in a larger story, made in limited numbers and never restocked. We are building the team behind the brand: people who work with FATALITY® across every collection, campaign and chapter as the house grows.
ABOUT THE ROLE
FATALITY® is building towards one goal before any other: people should recognize the brand before they read the name. The cross, the wordmark, the typography and the graphics carry that, and this role keeps all of it consistent.
You will turn each chapter’s story into artwork: gothic typography, cathedral imagery, distressed textures, statues, chrome detailing. Then you carry the same visual language into lookbooks, social media and packaging.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
– Design collection graphics and shirt artwork for each chapter, from moodboard to print-ready files
– Keep the brand consistent across apparel, packaging, the website and social media
– Art-direct campaign visuals with Eddie and the photo and video team
– Develop logos, typography and packaging as the brand grows
– Prepare print placements and artwork specs that manufacturers can work from
WHAT YOU’LL CREATE
– Shirt graphics
– Collection artwork
– Lookbooks
– Social media visuals
– Packaging
– Visual assets
WHO DOES WELL HERE
– A portfolio that shows apparel graphics, brand identity or editorial design
– Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator and Photoshop at minimum); Figma is a plus
– An understanding of screen print, puff print and high-density print, or the willingness to learn them quickly
– Taste shaped by more than other streetwear brands: architecture, photography, typography, music, film
– You can take direction on a vision without losing your own eye
WHAT A PROJECT LOOKS LIKE
– Front and back graphics for one chapter tee, delivered as print-ready files
– A lookbook layout for a chapter campaign
– A packaging system: story card, thank-you card and sticker set
HOW YOU’RE PAID
– Every engagement is a defined project: scope, deliverables, deadline and a flat project fee, agreed in writing before work starts.
– Larger projects are split into milestones, each paid when it is delivered and approved.
– You invoice FATALITY for each project or milestone. A completed W-9 is required before the first payment, and you receive a 1099 at year end.
– There is no hourly rate, salary, guaranteed volume or benefits package. Strong work leads to the next project, and the next chapter.
HOW INDEPENDENT WORK WORKS HERE
– You decide how, when and where the work gets done. We agree on the result, not your hours.
– You use your own equipment and software.
– You are free to take on other clients, as long as unreleased FATALITY work stays confidential.
– Pre-release designs, graphics and campaign material are covered by a confidentiality agreement, and work made for FATALITY is assigned to the brand once paid for.
BEFORE YOU APPLY
Every FATALITY role is project-based, independent-contractor work. There is no hourly pay, no salary, no benefits and no promise of a set number of projects. FATALITY® is a young label, and we would rather say that plainly in the listing than in a third conversation. These are ongoing roles with the brand as a whole: collections, campaigns, content, product and everything the house grows into. If you want to help build something made to last, and be paid fairly for each piece of it, read on.
