Spike Lee Fellows Program Application due by April 1st

Spike Lee in partnership with GERSH Agency, provides Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC) students with up to $25,000 of student academic debt relief, industry mentors, (paid) post-graduate internships, career readiness, and potential full-time employment.

CRITERIA:
Must be a junior or senior from the AUCC – Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College or Spelman College;

All academic majors are eligible;

Must be a full-time junior or senior with a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) 2.75 or better;

Demonstrate good character, community and campus citizenship;

Submit a copy of your current college transcript (unofficial is acceptable);

Provide a personal statement on the following question: What has caused the greatest impact in your life?;

Provide an 2-to-3 minute video on the following question related to your personal statement: How will you use that impact/experience to make a difference in your community and in our vastly, unpredictable and changing global world?;

Submit a copy of your resume with three references. References must be from the following sources: former/current employer, volunteer agency/organization, clergy person, professor, student leader, advisor, and school administrator.

PROCESS:
Application deadline April 1, 2023;

Prior to acceptance into the SPIKE FOLLOWS PROGRAM – candidates will be contacted via personal/campus email to schedule an interview;

Gersh Campus Visit the week of March 13, 2023;

Selections and reference checks the week of April, 17, 2023;

Final candidates must intern/work at the Gersh Agency, Inc. located in New York or Los Angeles.
