>> My name is Pete Lida [phonetic], and I am the Director of Schools in the Colonial School District. And that job requires me to support; supervise principals and schools in the Colonial School District. I have 8 schools that I supervise and work with on a regular basis. And then we have 14 total in district and I work with the other Director of Schools in helping in any projects that are kind of combined across the whole district. Well, I really don't have a typical day, which is the best -- one of the best parts about my job is that it's not typical. I will work from either starting in a school and meeting with principals or meeting with school teams; talking about various topics. Or I'll start over in District Office -- in my office -- and meet with the Superintendant's Council -- which is the other Directors and the Superintendent of the School District and the Assistant Superintendent of the District. We start with meetings and various projects and touch base on what's going on. Or I'll start out in the office and work on emails and phone calls and texts that I have to respond to and other paperwork-type things. [ Silence ]
