Responsibilities

- Prior to onboarding ~ get licensed so you can handle all aspects of wealth management (LAH, SIE, and 66)
- Set goals and determine your path as a financial professional
- Learn the ins and outs of prospecting and reaching out to clients
- Define your target markets
- Learn the fundamentals of fact-finding and gathering client information
- Gain an understanding of MassMutual products and services
- Develop and refine your interpersonal and soft skills
- Learn how to leverage technology
- Network and connect with experienced professionals
- Cultivate and grow
- Become well versed in holistic financial planning
- Provide financial advice for a range of clients and business owners
- Be coachable and be mentored by experienced financial advisors/management
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- No need for Visa sponsorship
- Must be a local candidate
- Obtain licensure prior to onboarding: Life & Health, SIE, and 66
- Prior sales experience and/or bachelor’s degree
- Clean Form U4 (no disclosures)
- Strongly preferred:
Strong understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and risk management
Prior financial advisor experience - You are disciplined and self-motivated
- You are social and often participate in groups and organizations
- You have an interest in finance and wealth management
- You possess emotional intelligence and are well-spoken
- You have strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- You have an entrepreneurial and go-getter mindset
- You’re willing to go the extra mile for clients
- You have presentational and organizational skills
- You have a BA, BS, or relevant work experience
