Role Purpose
Responsible for the operation and support of Intech’s internally developed trading system and
implementation of the investment process. Operates all trading system applications in conjunction with
other team members, including the reviewing of security transactions, managing the release, execution,
and return of trade orders, and ensuring all trading system functions are operating consistently with the
portfolio implementation process. Works in conjunction with team members to design, develop, and test
trade implementation improvements. Provides system support to all trading applications including
collaborating with various parties such as data vendors, clients, executing brokers, and custodians.
Collaborates with Portfolio Management team to perform research on trading costs and market data.
Essential Functions
 Operates the trading system as a member of the trading team
 Maintains and troubleshoots all trading system applications
 Designs and develops system improvements
 Collaborates with accounting, back office, and operations teams in coordinating the entire trade
order lifecycle
 Leads broker and trading data vendor relationships
 Discusses implementation process as part of client/prospect presentations
 Performs quantitative research on trading and market data
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
 Proficient knowledge of structured programming languages, specific knowledge of Python strongly
preferred
 Experience working with Snowflake, SQL, or Tableau preferred
 Knowledge of database applications
 High standards of ethical conduct in adherence to applicable securities law and company policies
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy
 Strong analytical and problem solving skills
 Ability to work independently within established guidelines
Minimum Experience and Education
 Undergraduate degree in technical area such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, or
physics
 No prior industry experience is required
 Ability to demonstrate experience with required knowledge and skills
