The Event & Market Operations Intern supports ASCENDtials’ community markets and public events. This role is ideal for students interested in event management, community engagement, environmental education, or nonprofit operations.
Responsibilities
Assist with market setup and breakdown
Support vendor check‑in and booth coordination
Help manage youth vendor stations
Provide onsite customer support and information
Assist with learning stations and community engagement activities
Capture event notes, attendance, and logistics for reporting
Coordinate with staff through the ASCENDtials Dashboard

Requirements
Must be able to attend weekend markets/events
Comfortable interacting with the public
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (tables, signage, supplies)
Reliable transportation to event sites
