JHU Carey Summer Business Academy

The Summer Business Academy cultivates the next generation of business leaders. This immersive experience supports rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors considering graduate business education. Over the course of 10 days, you will develop key leadership skills, unlocking personal and professional growth through first-person insight into real-life industry challenges. You’ll learn in an intellectually rigorous environment, with hands-on projects and real-life consulting opportunities. In this program, you’ll get a glimpse of what an MBA program at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School is really like. You’ll participate in case training and competitions, roundtable discussions with alumni, and project-based learning opportunities with local businesses. You will benefit from one-on-one training with Carey Business School experts and engaging community leaders of diverse perspectives. The program concludes with teams presenting findings and recommendations in an actual case analysis to a panel of expert judges from a sponsoring organization.
