TRG + Gas South
Exclusive Marketing/Advertising “Residency”

Aspiring marketing or advertising professionals, this one-of-a-kind internship specifically for students in their Junior year at Clark Atlanta might be for you. This Exclusive Marketing/Advertising “Residency” is a combined internship opportunity with TRG AND Gas South providing the student with a unique opportunity to work with both the advertising agency AND their client this summer.

The student selected will gain experience working at an advertising agency (TRG in Dallas, TX) with exposure to brand management, strategy, creative and media disciplines. You will participate in cross functional meetings and learn how to work with clients to fuel their business goals.

Then you’ll travel to Atlanta, GA to work with the client (Gas South) in their offices for three to four weeks. At Gas South, you’ll experience the client perspective, working with the marketing team as they prepare for their advertising campaigns, including media and creative plans. This will help you gain valuable insights and industry knowledge from the team as well as important insights into how execution occurs.

What You’ll Be Doing at TRG:

  • Collaborate with planning, strategy, creative, and project management team members within the agency
  • Develop client-service skills to build strong relationships and deliver all program elements with excellence
  • Assist with billing and accounting-related projects

  • Ample experience with Excel documents
  • Skilled in Keynote and PowerPoint
